My husband and I recently moved to Gilbert, Arizona from Central New York. After 20 years of nonprofit work I “retired” to start a consulting business while writing a book about the importance of creating a mission centric social enterprise to help fund said non-profit. And now here we are… my consulting business remains untouched and my book… well is more like a short story.

The Cottage Baker is my way of sharing joy with my fairly new community here in the desert. Baking has become my happy place, it quiets me and slows me down. I’m not fancy and will probably never make “star baker” but that’s okay. I’d say I’m a rustic baker - which rustic by definition means “in plain and simple fashion”. Yep, that’s me and I look forward to baking for you.
